  1. I got asked for supporting documentation at 74 points. Hopefully I make it on the waitlist! Goodluck you guys!
  2. Well if I was in your position i would be anxious 24/7. You would have no idea if you might get accepted or not. At least you have a chance. Just finish micro strong. Good luck on your Journey
  3. You have a better chance than me lol. #9 is a good spot. You have about 4 months until classes start next semester. that is alot of time, a few people will drop by then. I also think that if students drop within the first week of the nursing program than, they grab who is next on the waitlist. Also, what was your application score?
  4. Yea, 9 units taken the semester before or applying or the current semester.
  5. I had 71 points total. 3.67 overall, 3.7 science, 3.57 non science, teas score of 72%. I got 5pts residency, 3pts language, 4pts wrk experience, 0pts current student. When i apply next semester i should be 84pts if I pass micro and a few other classes with an A. As well as take 9 units next semester at Stan. Also if i get a higher teas score it should bump me up higher than 84. I plan on applying at Mjc where i stand at a better chance of getting in.
  6. I got alternate waitlist #64 😂. I got a 3.67 and a low teas of 72. I also didnt go their for a semester and lost out on 9 application points.
  7. I took anatomy over the summer and it was an 8-week course. I took it because for my school I had to take Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology in order. I planned to apply in spring 2017 and now I'm working on micro. I got lucky and got an easy anatomy teacher. He offered a lot of extra credit and I ended up passing with a 98%. My class was 4 days a week and 6 hours in class. It basically took up a good chunk of my summer. We would go through a chapter per day. Every day I would have to read the material before class and study the material right after class. I would suggest taking chem during the summer. Also, check Ratemyproffessor to see if your anatomy or chem teacher are good professors. That's my primary source and motive to pick a class or not.
