I think we got our nursing ID badges at orientation for Daytona. Try not to panic, the emails will start showing up telling you what and when you need to do things. Don't drag your feet on the background check and vaccination stuff.

If you all can't find anything you like in Daytona, look at Deland.... I know people in Deland to get feedback on places there if you are interested in a little bit of a commute.

I dropped off my form declining the spot today. When I was there, I asked and she said 3.12 was the lowest GPA for this class.

Does that incorrect letter mention what the cutoff for acceptance was?

I applied for the RN program.

Yes. The packet was in my mailbox for the ADN program.

Be careful. That waiver form auto-populates the dates in both the date signed and date of birth if you type it into the pdf document. I got mine rejected and just submitted it again because it auto-populated the date from when I signed it into the date of birth.

I am looking at the online info for fingerprints now. Looks like if I don't get them done today, I will have to wait for Tuesday where I want to go.... I think I might try the same thing you did and just get them done... Hopefully it doesn't throw things out of wack.

Humm.... Didn't know you could get it done before the VEHC was approved. If I don't see it approved tomorrow, I will try going straight to Daon to get it done. You went to a UPS Store? Pretty simple procedure?

You were able to do your fingerprints before the first form is done processing? Thought you could only get access to schedule the next step after that form is accepted? The basic background stuff looks like it also came back for me also.

That is that first form you need to upload to CastleBranch right? They said it could take up to 48 hrs.

Daytona campus for me... Getting a start on the background stuff. We don't have much time to get it done. That might create an opportunity for people on the list if someone waits too long.

Yes. They took someone the day before classes started from the list last year.

I have Spanish class at DSC in Daytona this afternoon. When done, I will walk over and pop my head in the nursing dept and see what they say.

NB5588, Well I really think that TEAS score you posted will get you in. I think you need to start sentences with "When I am in nursing school......" LOL! You know what.... I am in Daytona for class on Wednesday. If we don't hear anything by then, I will stop by and stick my head in and ask. They seem to be a very good group over there....

Yea.. I am pretty confident that my scores are good enough, but....... I always worry about it... LOL

I went back and took a look at the UCF 2017 class notifications. If they didn't delay things due to the hurricane, there is a chance we can hear something this week.
