Hey Lyndauba, sure thing! My prereq was 3.8 and my TEAS was 330. I do plan on applying for fall but I'm going to retake the TEAS again because the competition has definitely gotten more competitive since this summers group.

Nope. I called and asked and they said they don't rank them until they need to use the list. I accepted the position anyways.

I currently go to UNF (made it to their interview but they only pick 36 people and I wasn't one of them, but it's okay). I am waiting on UCFs decision (which should be out hopefully sometime this week or next) and then I am also going to apply to USF (depending on what UCF says).

I'm thinking they added it this late because they know a lot of other nurses schools give out their decisions in March/April so maybe they are trying to lower the number of applicants? I'm really not sure why they would decide on this so last minute AND make us pay. I definitely think it's a personality survey or something similar you fill out like when applying for a job. Like for example "Do you find yourself generally happy" then rate it 1 to 10 or something along those lines. I haven't taken it yet either but I'm going to put it off until I hear from other schools first because more money gives me the wrong idea from UF.

Yeah! I kind of think it's ridiculous that we have to pay an extra $55 when we already paid $45 for the application. But oh well, gotta do whatcha gotta do.

They did say 6-8 weeks from the deadline and next week is the 6 week mark. So hopefully Tuesday is the day!

Another day of waking up to an empty inbox *sigh*. Im 100% convinced we will see an email next week. I wish they were like other schools where there's a deadline and then they tell you by this date you'll hear back from us.

Alexander that sounds like a trend lol! Those were all tuesdays haha and now today is Tuesday and I keep checking my email í ½í¸‚

See i'm opposite with my TEAS score, which makes me worried. Hopefully this week or next that will all come to an end though! Someone should call and see if they've figured out how long it will take lol

This is off topic from GPAs but I was looking at the courses and I think they may be accepting 128 students this year (or almost every class just has that capacity). But for the GPAs I wish someone who was accepted had a TEAS as low as mine because it makes me anxious as hell see these old stats. Hopefully we will hear something this week but most likely next week! :)

See now I feel even more worried because I don't have a high GPA in science but I feel my other GPAs are decent but then again my TEAS is low compared to a lot of you so I feel this can go either way at this point.

Thank you! I was actually thinking we could possibly hear something next week too because UCF had their spring break this week so maybe they used that time to go through the applications? Ahh it's all so nerve wrecking!

Thanks! I'm trying to stay positive too but similar to you when I see others post I feel discouraged about my stats. I try to remember that they take around 120 people (that's a lot compared to some schools) and then when I compare my states to last years admitted students I feel positive again because I'm in the ranges. So just keep your head up and just know one day we will be nurses and look back at this day and feel so proud of ourselves and what we've accomplished! Also, we should hear a decision in about 2 weeks (hopefully). They said 6-8 weeks from the deadline is the typical wait time.

If you don't mind me asking, with all those credits how come you don't have the AA degree?

For UF do we just kind of wait around until about June when they send out decisions?
