  1. Oh goodness Monday's holiday got my days all confused, yes today is the deadline thank you for the clarification. Anyone apply for or know of any reputable scholarships we can apply for?
  2. Oh wow I love Vero Beach, I used to live in Ft. Pierce. Are you currently attending IRSC for your chem class?
  3. Did everyone who got accepted email their completed attachments back to Julie? Today at noon is the deadline to keep your seat.
  4. I'm going to start reviewing my A&P books and try and get organized lol. I see you got accepted to Venice, congrats! Are they having orientation there? Or do you need to travel to Bradenton for it?
  5. No, however, looking at the academic calendar, it looks like classes resume August 20th. We'll definitely find out at orientation.
  6. I thought it did when I originally posted, but later noticed she sent out an additional email with attachments as she forgot to add them in the original acceptance email. Sorry about the confusion.
  7. For those of you that have been accepted and are not able to see the attachments in the email - I was unable to see attachments with my email when using my phone to check, however, I now see them in my email when logged in on my laptop.
  8. Email came in at 11am
  9. I got accepted! Bradenton here I come! Looking forward to meeting my fellow classmates! Woohoo. Congratulations everyone 😀
  10. Well, there goes my hope for possibly hearing something back a little early 😞, guess I can now stop checking my email every hour lol. Thank you for keeping us posted, good luck I hope you hear back with good news.
  11. I would definitely be interested in a FB group. I've seen other SCF nursing classes that have created them where they share notes, ideas and ask questions throughout the program. Tomorrow is the big day OH MY 😳
  12. Stressful indeed! Let's also hope we find out sooner, I'm not sure I can wait until Friday without losing my mind. Yes, please if anyone hears anything please keep us updated! Best of luck to us all.
  13. Has anyone heard anything as of yet or know someone personally that has heard back? This waiting is stressful knowing that out futures depend on it. I wish they would hurry up lol
  14. This waiting period is driving me insane! If anyone gets accepted, do you plan on working as well? Anyone from the Parrish/Ellenton area?
  15. Agreed! Hoping all who get accepted are notified before the 25th. Good luck!
  16. When I attended the information session, she said Bradenton was very competitive, however, if you had all requirements completed and there was a seat available at Venice, it would be offered to the Bradenton applicant if all selected location seats are filled (she said they give you about a day or two to decide). With that being said, the 25th can't come any sooner. I'm continuously checking my email several times a day- you know, just in case lol. All 9 classes are completed with pre-req gpa 4.0 and over all is 3.9 but I'm still shaking in my boots! I'm praying for a seat! Hope we all get accepted. Best of luck to all!
  17. I applied for the fall program at Bradenton, awaiting the acceptance email is definitely nerve wrecking! I finished all required pre-reqs and gen ed classes, my pre-req GPA is 3.8 and gen ed is 4.0. I'm praying my grades are good enough to get in. Who else is waiting for their acceptance email for fall of 2018? I'm a nervous wreck and 5/25 can't get here any sooner!
  18. Thank you for your response. I'll actually be transferring to a new school for this upcoming summer semester and when I went to their website none of the scholarships apply to me. There has to be another way to apply for scholarships (I hope). I'm trying to stay one step ahead of the game, I'd hate to hit a road block.
  19. Can someone please help point me in the right direction so I may apply for scholarships for my nursing program. I know there's tons of money of there for school, but where do I start? I don't want money to be a hinderance for my life long dream. I'll have to eventually leave my job, but how does a single (mom), independent woman do it? I know there has to be a way. Any advice for reliable websites? In desperate need and planning on starting the nursing program in January 2018. ANY advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  20. Hi all! I'll be applying for SCF's nursing program this September (2017). I need to take the TEAS VI and I'm trying to plan ahead so I can study properly. ATI offers different packages for study materials and I'm a little torn on which to purchase. Money is not an object for study material, I really just need to pass this entrance exam so I can start in January. I am giving myself enough time that if I happen to fail I can retake it 3 months later and still be able to apply in September. I get severe test anxiety and have a difficult time retaining information when I'm testing. Would you all be so kind and help me decide which study package is best (they range from roughly $50-$210). Please share your experience and the best way to study for this exam. Thanks in advance.
