  1. (Sorry for the long post) I just wanted to share my experience with the CA BON for anyone else who may be dealing with similar issues! I Applied with the CA BON on 05/16/17 and had already made sure all of my transcripts, fees and fingerprints had been sent as well. Since their website said the processing times for "Licensure by Examination" was 10-12 weeks I figured I had a while to wait. I kept checking the website each week to see what applications they were currently processing. One week the dates they were processing were "May 1-15" and when I checked back the following week they were processing "June 1-15". I waited a few days thinking that I would hear soon since the website said they had passed my application but nothing came. I checked with Pearson Vue and they said they still hadn't received my eligibility from the CA BON. I had the hardest time getting through to someone on the phone and I always got the automated message that said something like "We are currently experiencing a higher than normal call volume, please try again later" and it would hang up on me. After reading about a trick to get a hold of someone, I called early in the morning and pressed "0" which isn't an option listed but it finally put me through to someone. When I explained my situation they checked on my application and said "I'm so sorry, your application must have SLIPPED THROUGH THE CRACKS SOMEHOW, it's a good thing you called" Long story short, once I finally got through to someone they were able to help me get my application going and I got my ATT relatively soon after. The CA BON is very difficult to deal with but I would just keep trying to get a hold of them. I understand they they are busy and understaffed but if I hadn't gotten through to them that day, who knows how much longer I would've waited. Good luck to everyone registering for the NCLEX! I took it yesterday finally and now it's a waiting game for the results!
  2. I took the NCLEX-RN yesterday, 09/19/17 at 1 PM and got 108 questions in before the test shut off. I waited to try to Pearson Vue trick until this morning (09/20/17) and got the "good pop-up" with entering the right credit card number but wrong CVC and exp. date. I tried again later on in the afternoon and again got the "good pop-up". I'm in California and we don't have access to the quick results so the PVT is what i'm placing all my hope in right now until I can get my official results back from CA. I just wanted to see if anyone has ever heard of anyone getting the "good pop-up" but didn't actually pass? I would appreciate anyone's help!
  3. Hello, i graduated from nursing school in May 2017 and I soon after applied to take my NCLEX with the California board of Nursing. It is now almost August and the board is experiencing major delays in processing applications and I probably won't be able to take the test for at least another couple of months (if I'm lucky). I've seen a lot of people say that the chances of passing get lower the longer you wait to take the test but I really have no other options available to me. Does anyone have any advice on this situation or is anyone experiencing something similar? Any advice would help!!
