  1. Hi everyone! I've also applied for the Spring 18 cohort. I've also talked with admissions about how competitive the program is and they noted that acceptance is generally based on your prerequisite GPA, overall science GPA, community/volunteer experience (of which I have very, very little), and letters of reference. Diversity also plays a role and I've read in other forums that it can be very helpful to have professional or educational experience abroad, however the admissions rep didn't mention this to me. I also had questions regarding the tremendous cost of attendance ($80,000+) and she mentioned that they try their absolute hardest to give every student some sort of scholarship (last year ranging from $4000-6000 per semester) as well as need-based grants, if available (around $500 or so). This was encouraging to hear because it's quite intimidating to think that you could come out of a program in so much debt! So excited to hear more and my fingers are crossed to all that have/plan to apply!!
