  1. Did you get the latest versions for the study guide? I found some nice skechers nursing shoes on amazon but don't know if it's comfortable enough.
  2. Did you purchased all the books already? I'm probably going to get the mosby's medical dictionary.
  3. Did you have to call human resources to schedule your appointment as well, or just Erika?
  4. For those who did your live scan already, we only need to call -------------- to make the appointment, right?
  5. It went well! There was a lot of people but don't lose hope yet! Some are still debating between schools, I believe.
  6. Hey everyone. Did you guys get a letter in the mail as well?
  7. If you do not mind, when is your appointment?
  8. Thanks! Just scheduled mine!
  9. If you don't mind me asking as I haven't filled out the paperwork yet, do you know the cost for the scan?
  10. I just got the email today. Have you?
  11. Just give it some time. Some may decide not to accept their spot.
  12. Congratulations to you as well! I emailed Maria yesterday and haven't heard since but apparently, it looks like she's out till next week and today's veterans day. I'll probably email her again next week.
  13. They usually send emails first and then letters.
  14. Have they emailed you back yet?
  15. Is anyone interested in creating a facebook group?
  16. Congrats to everyone! Got it too.
  17. Should be sometime in November or first week of December.
  18. The waiting game begins!
  19. Who did you hear it from that county gives you a job?
  20. Thank you so much! I have heard of the "BOG waiver" before. However, the LA county school of nursing does not offer such a fee waiver and I guess it's kinda a "community school"? Their tuition is much higher though I have heard that their education and clinicals are the best (Not to say that other's are not).
  21. Hey Rightousjenn, I had a few questions if you don't mind.. I applied last year for Spring 2017 and surprisingly, got accepted; however, I deferred my admission for Spring 2018 because I am en route to finish my Bachelors here at CSULA. I am now debating whether I should start at County or should I apply to the accelerated programs or even go for my BSN? Also, how tough was it for you to get a job after graduation? (Since I've heard most hospitals only hire BSN) Thank you ahead of time!!!
  22. Thank you very much for posting! I have heard that as well. Though, if money is going to be an issue, would you still recommend the ADN route? OR just get loans and go with BSN?
  23. Hello everyone! I am currently a student at a CSU and am on track to finish my Bachelors of Public Health by the Fall semester. I was looking into applying into nursing programs for the Spring Semester; however, I am unsure which route I should gear towards to since I have heard both pros and cons for both routes. Would you guys please be kind enough to take the following poll? It would mean a whole lot. Thank you!
