Thank you! I've taken Gen Bio 1 and 2, Genetics, Microbiology, Intro Chem, Gen Chem 1 and 2, Organic 1&2, Comparative Anatomy, Reproduction Biology, and Endocrinology...as well as CE courses for my vet nurse license (some included A&P topics)...do you think this makes a difference at all?

The director of the nursing program referred to it as "V" and it is also listed as such on the nursing application. Maybe they do mean "VI", though:x3:

I'm scheduled to take the TEAS V on April 14th with the hopes of being admitted to my school's nursing program for the fall 2017 cohort. It's at a two year college, but they consider it competitive (about 300 applicants for 50 open spots). The nursing director I talked to (via one email asking about the application process) made it a point that I should take Anatomy and Physiology 1&2 before taking the TEAS because of the material. She basically made it seem like I would not be admitted into the program and fail because (in her words), those who take the TEAS before A&P rarely do well and quickly dismissed me. However, A&P is NOT a pre req for the nursing program at this school, there is the option to take it while taking nursing classes. Here is where my frustration kicks in a bit.... for the past 5+ years, I have been a licensed veterinary nurse (mostly worked in emergency and critical care, I also run a wildlife rescue that deals with sick and injured animals). I have taken all other pre/co reqs, as well as upper level Biology and Chemistry courses; I wanted to switch to a career that pays better, is in demand, and allows me to care for others. I am comfortable with my knowledge of A&P thanks to my current job and education background and I am studying with the ATI and Princeton Review study guides. However, now I am SUPER paranoid that I will NOT do well on the TEAS without taking A&P after speaking with the program's director I really do not feel like waiting until next year to apply. ...has anyone else taken the TEAS before taking anatomy and physiology?? What aspects of A&P are mainly focused on on the TEAS?
