  1. Hi! Program is going well. It is doable as long as you are ready to focus on school and commit most of your life to it for 17 months. I commute 50 minutes each way. The clinical assignments are in Modesto or Stockton. Classroom/clinical days are 2 to 4 days a week depending on the session.
  2. Yes, 1610 Statistics for Decision Making was accepted on my application. You need to email your question to the ASBSN email address with a catalog description of 1610 asking for approval. You then include that email along with your application package.
  3. Hi! I am in cohort 7. Your TEAS score is solid. Good luck!
  4. Orientation is 12/4 and I am hoping that the Castle Branch will help us manage the TB requirement but I haven't looked into it. I think a fb group is a nice idea :) not sure on the CPR requirement.
  5. Sorry guys I don't know why my comments aren't posting as replies properly. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
  6. Mine still shows pending. Yours?
  7. Sure! Roughly high 80's was my score.
  8. Check your mailboxes!!!!!!! I'm in :) very excited and I wish you all the best of luck!!
  9. Good luck to you too! I'm really excited, it is hard to wait. This is the only program I've applied to. How about everyone else?
  10. Thank you for the update! So hard to wait!
  11. If they get mailed out today we probably have to wait until about Tuesday? Gahhhhh!
  12. OMG I'm so anxious!!! I know my score is good but I still worry!! BEST OF LUCK!!
  13. I don't work for the school or anything, but in doing my research this is what I know to be true...... :) the ASBSN program that is in Stockton but part of CSU Stanislaus starts once a year in January. The application period is a short window in the Summer prior. For example, this year it was Aug 1-Aug 10, 2017 to start Jan 2018. In prior years the application window has been longer. For the Sociology, you could easily pick that up as an online class at one of the local junior colleges. I would be surprised if they would sub the anthro class for socio, but always worth a try. I'm happy to help if you have more questions. I'm getting excited/nervous to hear if I am in for cohort 7 :)
  14. They can't be in progress. Tell me what class you need, maybe I'll have an idea to get the class done in time
  15. There are different requirements for the traditional program at the Turlock campus versus the Stockton ASBSN. Which are you applying to?
  16. Sorry for the long delay in responding! Yes Gustine is not too far, we will have a similar commute. I'm getting excited to hear news hopefully very soon! Best of luck :)
  17. Yes I got two letters from CSUS and I also graduated from there. They were the same as you described. One said it was from the graduate school but I called and they said since I am trying for a second bachelors degree that is normal. Where will you be traveling to Stockton from? I'm in Turlock.
  18. Hi! This post is a little old but I was curious if you are trying for ASBSN cohort 7? I applied! And to answer your question...no shelf life on prereqs.
  19. I am wondering if I should expect any correspondence before October? Such as a confirmation letter or my score or anything? Does anyone know?
  20. Sure, I think I am high 80's. My TEAS was 90. I am just not sure exactly which classes go into each gpa calculation but for the 4 science pre reqs I have an A, A, A-, B+. I am not bilingual and I do not have healthcare experience. I graduated from the CSU system. From what I've heard in prior years a 70 or so is a solid score.
  21. Hi Ladies! I applied for cohort 7. Good luck to all other applicants! My grades and TEAS are strong but no healthcare experience.
  22. I am also looking into HNU and also Samuel Merritt college. I have emailed two nursing programs to check for transfer ability. One said yes and one did not reply.
