  1. I was wondering if anyone knew how likely New York Presbyterian in NYC hires their own nurse aides/attendants after s/he has completed the BSN and passed the NCLEX? If an individual was hired internally, how was the process like? Were you immediately "transitioned" or you still had to reapply and interview again? While you had your license, and were waiting to be hired as an RN, were you still allowed to work as a CNA? Some insight into this would be awesome.
  2. @raspberry1 are we required to wear scrubs for class every day too?
  3. @raspberry1 do students usually do poorly during the first summer semester then?
  4. Hi raspberry1! Thank you for providing some insight into the program but I do have a few questions for you if you don't mind answering them. 1. You seem to have a pretty positive outlook on CNR's program, but does your peers also have the same consensus? A lot of reviews on CNR's accelerated program seems really split/on the negative side... 2. Out of curiosity, what colors are our clinical scrubs? Lol 3. For your first summer semester, did you like the professors? And do you remember how your typical day was like in terms of classes, clinicals, etc... I just want to have an idea how packed/busy it'll be.
  5. Yeah they were trying to get the ones that were already accepted to make a decision soon.... they made it sound like seats are extremely limited
  6. I actually applied really really early... I originally applied for spring I think around October or November, but they pushed my application for the summer instead.
  7. Yes! I have and I got accepted!
