  1. Hi everyone, I am currently taking AP2 lecture and lab, and will be taking microbiology and chem 2 next semester. I transferred to Georgia State after graduating with an AA and AS in Political Science and Criminal Justice. I initially wanted to continue with Political Science in order to receive my BS in Political Science and pursue Law. I paid for school on my own out of pocket without loans so needless to say things got tough and I was working everyday as well as going to school everyday. I had a heart to heart with myself and decided to take a year off and determine what I wanted to do. Out of high school I always wanted to be in the medical field and I took an insane amount of extra science courses and ended up working in a clinic as an assistant for 2 years. As I mentioned I followed law instead and now I am back in school. Since I transferred and have 2 degrees all of my credits transferred and I have been enrolled in school for 3 semesters just to finish the pre-reqs that only involve AP/AP2, CHEM 1&2, and Microbiology. Is there any opportunities out there to involve nursing and the degrees I currently hold? Also due to the fact that I am a transfer student I pretty much only have one shot to get good grades compared to someone who may have declared Nursing as their first major and had 4+ years to obtain the BSN. Any advice would be very helpful and appreciated!!
  2. Hello Everyone! Today I took my first A&P Lab Practical I was so unbelievably stressed out! I just got my grade back and I got a 74, I am disappointed because I am better than that but I guess I blanked and didn't study the bones enough. I nailed everything as far as the tissues and bones but when it came to the processes and notches and this and that on bones I blanked. My lab only has 2 practicals worth 35% each, 1 lab report, Mastering A&P quizzes worth 10%, and the drawings worth 10% as well. Do I have a shot at this class or should I consider retaking it? I am stressed knowing that I can't score below a B. I realized I need to change my study habits and breaking up the material more rather than trying to learn a big chunk in one setting. Any advice?
