  1. It had to be just crazy competitive ! We still have cycle 2!! Like you said we are still in this
  2. If you don't mind me asking, what was your gpa?
  3. Yes you are right ! Fingers crossed for the second cycle
  4. No unfortunately I wanted to save money and I didn't apply anywhere else because of my gpa I really felt I had a chance of at least getting an interview. Which I'm really regretting now. I'm trying to figure out my options now but no matter what I'm going to nursing school, even if it isn't right now
  5. Hi I haven't gotten any word at all, do you mind if I ask you your gpa?
  6. And wow as late as next Friday! That is nerve racking
  7. Hi! And honestly I feel like just practicing questions best for preparing for interviews ! I'm planning on just googling common interview questions and practicing my answers. I think they ask you 5 questions on the interview one of them being of course why you want to be a nurse
  8. Haha I would but I don't have a Snapchat, I would add you on Instagram though
  9. Hi! @blueberries17 I know exactly how you feel. And wow I seriously can't wait to be in your position at @dogunrinde it is really exciting but nerve racking at the same time and my emotions are all over the place right now.
  10. No, I don't think so. I know that if you get in interview, all they know is your name.
  11. Yes I am! And I don't really think there's too much of a difference from the two cycles but maybe there will be more people applying to the second because by then everyone will have their prereqs done. I just applied to cycle 1
  12. Hi! The only difference is that people of cycle one have already finished there pre reqs, so if they do not get in they can apply again to cycle two. I'm not sure if it affects the chances of getting in. Do you go to usf now ?
  13. Yes they are super helpful. I feel like I have a lot of resources and at this point I just know I really have to work on interviewing but I really like talking to people who have gone through the process and I appreciate you replying!
  14. Yes , I am prenursing. I just applied to the program, and I'm waiting to hear back on if I got an interview. The application cycle closes march 4.
  15. Yes I've heard of people with 4.0s not getting in to. I get nervous in interviews so that is what I'm most nervous about. But I'm going to practice. How do you like nursing school??
  16. Hi! Yes I've actually ready that discussion and that is what made me want to start one! But no one from my class has replied. I have a 3.9 gpa and a 3.8 Pre req. I know you probably don't know how well my chances are of getting because I know the interview is a big factor, but if you had any idea or opinions I would like to know! Also what did you do to practice for the interview?? Thanks in advance for the reply !
  17. Hi! I've seen other threads like this one. Pretty much it is just a support thread of anyone who is applying to the University of South Florida's Fall 2017 nursing class. There are threads for about every other year except 2017, so I am starting it. If there is anyone else who just wants to talk to someone going through the process like me, feel free to reply to this discussion. Good luck to anyone applying to nursing school this semester. I understand first hand how nerve racking it can be!
