  1. Thanks so much for all of that info! I've been trying to make a decision between TWU and UTMB actually, I got the second acceptance after this post. I've heard good things about UTMB, and I'm leaning towards choosing them just to salvage some of my personal life while in school. It's a hard decision but I think in the end the board pass rates are comparable.
  2. I had 3.4 GPA in undergrad, 4 years as a nurse-2 years experience in the OR, 6 months in PCU and about 1.5y so far in CVICU :)
  3. I'm in the League City area as well
  4. I applied right at the deadline. and just received my acceptance yesterday! I accepted, and I look forward to meeting y'all at orientation. I've known a couple nurses that went through the program and have said great things about it.
  5. Thanks for the replies! That's good to know. I'll have to sit down and talk to someone. I wanted to be able to start in the fall so I applied to UT health and UTMB as well, whose deadlines were really early. TWUs was open then so I figured I'd just do it then also. I was surprised to hear back so quick as well, but I'm glad they're reviewing them as they come so I can plan. May seems like cutting it a little close. Good luck on your app and GRE!
  6. Well, I just found out I got accepted to TWU's FNP program for fall 2017! Is there anyone that has insight into what the program is like? My concerns are about finding clinical sites and managing workload with working. I've heard about people panicking about finding clinical sites.. Has anyone ever NOT been able to progress in the program because of this? I went to TWU for my BSN and loved it, but wasn't working at the time and I've heard the MSN program can be just as rigorous. Any insight would be helpful!
