Hi everyone!! I wanted to see if anyone else had this experience. So I interviewed for a RN position in the Neonatal ICU. Two weeks after the interview I shadowed a nurse in the NICU. I felt like everything went exceptionally well! I will be a new grad in May and they are accepting new grad nurses, so I meet all of the qualifications. I kept on checking my jobpage for updates and only 2 days after the shadow experience, my position status changed from "In Consideration" to "Not in consideration" So I'm highly upset because this is my dream job. The only thing that has me second guessing if this "not in consideration" status is correct, is that I never received an email stating I wasn't being considered for the position anymore. I've applied to many NA, PCT, and RN positions through this system and every single time they deny your application, you receive an email right away stating they were moving forward with other candidates. So I am thinking it might be a glitch in the system? I'm not sure if I should contact anyone in HR or the unit director directly.
