  1. FabsSabs i sent you a friend request already
  2. I tried to add you but I cannot because we are not FB friends but i sent you a request. Did you look under groups when you typed in the name?
  3. I started one KSU Nursing Spring 2018 i think is the name
  4. I have been accepted to the traditional BSN program! I am so happy! I will keep my fingers crossed for everyone. And congratulations to those who have already been accepted.
  5. What did you end up getting on your TEAS, if you don't mind sharing?
  6. I just got off the phone with KSU. Notifications begin to go out this week. She did not specify in what manner we would be informed, nor did she state which students were notified first, either accepted or rejected, or whether all applicants are notified simultaneously. The lady on the phone also mentioned that all notifications must be sent prior to the third week in October. Thus, although notifications begin to go out this week, some students may not receive it before the second week in October. It is my daughters Fall Break; my husband and I decided to bring the kids to the beach for a few days ( my first vacation since beginning school, three years ago). Needless to say, anticipation and anxiety beset me as I await my fate, making this beach trip less enjoyable; and I am certain my husband wishes I would talk about something/anything else. Anyone else experiencing similar afflictions?
  7. Has anyone heard anything one way or the other??
  8. @Jazzyjas I got the same thing....Weird. I have been accepted to the school for months now.
  9. I received an email in early August requesting my grades from summer. They wanted my English 1102 grade and they wanted to see which classes I was enrolled in for Fall. With the completion of 1102 in the summer, I have completed all nursing pre-reqs. I think they wanted to make sure I had the second English
  10. Ok guys! When do you think we will hear back about acceptance?
  11. I calculated your score and you are 86.5/90. I was following a similar thread that was Spring 2017 KSU applicants and the average score that got in was around an 86/90 and I even saw as low as 84/90. So, I think you have a great shot and you should definitely apply. As I understand it, if you don't have a previous degree then you have to apply to the traditional. I am applying for traditional. I wouldn't want to do accelerated anyway. Nursing school is already hard, no need to make it harder LOL.
  12. Anyone else out there applying to KSU's nursing program for Spring admission? Post your stats and whether you are applying for accelerated or traditional. I just submitted my application for traditional. My stats are: Overall GPA: 4.0 5/7 GPA: 4.0 7/12 GPA: 4.0 TEAS: 88% Competitive Score: 87.6/90 ****Total GPA- 20 points (multiply your GPA by 20 then divide by 4) Top 5/7 - 30 points (math and science GPA only, multiplied by 30 then divide by 4) Top 7/12-20 points (same as total GPA calculation) TEAS 20 points - multiply by 20 then divide by 100 This gives you your competitive score
  13. Congratulations to everyone accepted. I just applied for Spring 2018 admission and I was trying to calculate all the initial cost involved if I were to be accepted. The one item that I have been unable to find a price for is the background check and drug test. How much are those test?
