I honestly think it varies. My interview was last week whereas others had theirs months prior to mine. They have so many applicants and they apparently interview everyone so I wouldn't be too worried. If anything, it cant hurt to give them a call and express your concerns. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

When I had my interview they said that they wouldn't be making any decisions until the end of May-early June, unfortunately.

Does anyone know the class size for our cohort for Fall 2017? Has anyone been able to find housing yet? If so would anyone mind PMing me and giving me more information? I don't know where to begin as I am not too familiar with the area.

Yes, I agree that the conference call was very frustrating as I was not able to ask my question. Hopefully, I am able to ask it during the next conference call on Monday. Do any of you know if they typically are able to fund all of the eligible applicants in the first tier?

Also, when filling out the portion regarding when your program starts/ends and when your graduation date is, are you guys putting exact dates? I don't have those yet and probably wont get them until closer to the beginning of the semester. What are you guys doing about this?

I interviewed on 3/21 and as of 3/23 the status on the portal changed to admitted! Yay! Congrats to everyone who was accepted! Did someone end up making a Facebook page? If so, please let me know!

They should have given you a student ID number and then you just enter your last name. I would try contacting admissions. When I had issues with this they were able to help me.

Congrats premedtobsn! It seems like everyone has different lengths of time about when they hear back, spanning from 1 week to 1 month! I had my interview today but I hope it doesn't take a month to hear something back. I would like to start looking at ways to pay this!

Hey everyone! So I just wanted to start a fresh new thread for applicants that are interested in the 2017 Fall Cohort at the University of Rochester's ABPNN Program. It seems that a lot of people who commented in previous threads pertaining to this cohort got lost in the threads and never really had their questions/comments/concerns addressed. So I just felt it was best to start a new one! I applied to the program back in February, but have not yet heard anything. I know that they are wrapping up the acceptances for the May 2017 cohort, but has anyone who applied for Fall 2017 heard anything?

Happy to announce that I was accepted today! Yay! However, still weighing my options as I have a couple more interviews lined up. Does anyone know if they have an accepted students day or an upcoming open house? I've never been to the campus so I'm hoping to visit soon!

Ok! Thanks for letting me know! I, like you, submitted my application on the day that it was due and have not heard anything about an interview yet so I am getting a little nervous..especially because it doesn't seem like they are going in order of when the applications were submitted/completed. Hopefully I hear something back soon.

When you guys were notified about an interview, what was the medium in which they used to contact you? Did the mail you guys a letter or call you? Just curious.

Hi Yoonsung0506, I don't believe that they do writing samples anymore. I have read the past threads and it was mentioned that the TEAS Exam is what took place of having to do a writing sample. So I think you should be okay!
