Hi Everybody!! I'm getting ready to attend GCU and have a question! I've been working with an advisor who has been great, and he told me that I qualify for a bunch of scholarships at GCU (yay!). Unfortunately, after he did my budget sheet I'm still left paying a large amount out of pocket I'm a full time employee at Banner and I know that employees receive 20% off of tuition at GCU. I asked my advisor to apply the employee discount and he told me that he can't. He told me that I can either have the scholarships, or the Banner employee discount, not both. My co-workers are telling me that his info is incorrect. I talked to my advisor more about it and he is firm on the answer. I then called GCU's financial aid department and found out there is no financial aid department and was told to contact my advisor :/ I was excited about this school, but am now not feeling it! Can any Banner employees tell me if I can apply scholarships and the Banner discount together? Or is my advisor right? The 20% off would be a huge help!! Thank you all! Monica
