  1. As for information to help you test out of nursing calculations, there are several good youtube videos. I know most of the calculations by heart but I heard there is some pharmacology stuff in the class so I'm going to take it just so I don't miss that. Also, it doesn't get put onto your transcripts if you test out and I would like it to be there for my BSN.
  2. Just a copy of your military ID. I asked that when I called a long time ago.
  3. I know a girl that got in with 17 but her friend had 16 and got denied. So it is 16.5 or 17.. maybe?? I'm going on Friday as well as the girl that I know.
  4. I'm in as well! Congrats to all that made it and if you didn't, keep trying. It's been such a long road for me.
  5. No, I didn't. A girl I know went into advising and her advisor called a contact for the nursing department to find out information. What she said the lady told the advisor goes along with what Lily told me when I asked about finalized points on Monday or Tuesday. I forget which day I called.
  6. It will be today or Tuesday. I'm hoping for this afternoon.
  7. Who did you speak with Stacey? I called today to get my score and she told me it wouldn't be finalized until the end of the week most likely so I had hopes for Thursday since the school is closed on Friday. That is so depressing. They definitely should have sent out an email saying they are being delayed. Also, a lady from the school told me over 300 people applied so I'm sure that is making it take longer too.
  8. Ok that makes sense. Nothing is probably "official" until those letters go out. Anyone checking their email every 30 minutes like a mad person??
  9. I called and got my finalized score the day after I took the DET which was back in January. They should already have that. They probably thought you meant the cutoff score??
  10. It won't let you register now anyways because registration doesn't start until the 10th.
  11. I think and hope it will be tomorrow. Late last year, my husband and I were planning a 10 year anniversary trip to Europe in April since we never had a honeymoon. We had to cancel because they told me the mandatory orientations would be in April and they couldn't guarantee that early April would be safe (you have to accept or reject your approval by a certain time so they can let the alternates know something). But that conversation was before they had 300 applicants so we may be stuck waiting longer.
  12. Just had my surgery. April is almost here!! I cannot wait. I wish everyone luck!! I can't wait to meet you guys!
  13. Try Lisa or Julie at extension 5542.
  14. I took mine the evening of 1/19 and received it about 3-4 on 1/20. So almost 24 hours later but I also called the morning of the 20th to verify my amount of points.
  15. When she first sent me that it felt very overwhelming but the first class is only four weeks so just remember that! Also, the last year is two class each half of the semester. Clinical time will be more but maybe you'll have more time to work then. That's when I'm planning on taking my two remaining classes for my other degree.
  16. Staceychenell, I found her schedule that she sent me. The first four weeks was 102 class on Mon 10-12, Tues 8-12, Wed 8-2, Thurs - off, Fri 8-2 With 104 class on Mon 8-10 After 102 ended, she had 103 class on Mon 10-12, Tues 10-12 (103 lab), Wed off (except time at hospital getting patient info for clinicals which was 1-1.5 hrs), Thurs clinical 7-11, Fri 103 10-12. with 104 class on Mon 8-10 still. I hope that helps you some in figuring out a schedule!! Also they have some notes listed as public on quizlet if you want to look at some of the stuff ahead of time!
  17. I believe clinical time is 6 hours the first semester. They start working the students into 12 hour clinicals the second semester.
  18. Go on estorm and select the classes and put them in your shopping cart for fall semester. I believe clinical time and lab time for one class isn't listed so just take that into consideration.
  19. I know someone in the end of the first year. The only thing not on there for the schedule is lab for one of the classes and clinical times. She said we need a couple hours once clinicals start to go to the hospital and get all that stuff situated the day before too so take that into consideration. We won't have clinicals until after 103 starts mid September ish towards the end. She sent me the hours and her schedule looked intimidating plus not even having study time factored in.
  20. The RN-BSN program at the other school I'm currently enrolled in requires CHEM105 but I'm thinking of switching to Bama by distance (the University of Alabama) for their bridge program instead since I will only need 6 classes (and they are the nursing courses only unless I need a higher Chemistry which they don't offer online). I just need to find out what Chemistry they require before summer registration starts.
  21. Is anyone taking Chem105 this summer?? I'm considering taking it for my bsn.
  22. And yay for the last full month of not knowing! I hope everyone gets in!! Come on April, both the month and the giraffe because my friends are all blowing up facebook (it's almost as bad as politics) Fun fact: you have to wait 900 seconds between posts. That's equal to 15 minutes but I'm not quite sure why they just didn't say that. Maybe 900 seconds doesn't sound as long as the 15 minutes does.
  23. Yes, I was curious about the 0.5 point as well. I looked at the application and didn't see anything when I saw it in another forum from last year's applicants.
  24. Yes, two are impacted. I'm having the other two removed even though they haven't started coming in yet because it makes the most sense to do it all at once. Ouch that doesn't sound like fun. Hopefully they send me home with some good stuff. I had four children drug free but this has me stressed out worried.
  25. Haha I have a count down on my phone and it feels like it's taking forever. But now, I'm not so excited since I'm having surgery to get my wisdom teeth out on March 31st. Days seems to fly by now that I'm wanting them to slow down.
