  1. I'm still somewhat in shock as I write this. I took the NCLEX on Friday morning and honestly it was kind of a blur. I remember thinking that I was getting a ton of SATA and hoping that meant I wasn't doing too badly. So when I answered the 60th question and the screen went blue I was confused. I thought for sure my test couldn't be over yet. But it was and after answering the survey questions I left the test center feeling semi-okay about my performance. I spent the rest of the day trying to forget that the NCLEX existed and did the PVT about 11pm that night. I got the good pop-up but I didn't put too much stock in that as I've heard of people failing even after getting the good pop-up. Fast forward to this morning. I logged into Pearson's website at about 8am and saw that my quick results were ready. I said a quick prayer and then purchased them. I was so overjoyed when I saw the word PASS that I immediately started crying. I can't believe that it's finally over. All of the sleepless nights working on concept maps or studying- the 3am wake ups for clinical - all of that led to this moment. I can finally call myself a nurse. I'm so excited to start.
  2. I applied to the absn program at Trinity College of Nursing in Rock Island, IL. Has anyone else also applied? I submitted my application in August and I guess I'm just getting a little impatient, lol. Any graduates of the program who could offer any insight into the program or the admissions process?
