I got the same email today with my student ID and password! I hope that means I will be receiving an acceptance letter in the mail! Are you planning to go? Did you apply anywhere else?

Credibility of online prereq courses?
Hello all-- Sorry if this is a repeat post. I am in the beginning stages of taking pre-req courses for a ABSN or entry-level Master's program (no specific program at this point.) Being a busy, full-time worker, online classes (or hybrid online lecture/ in-person labs) are what works best for my schedule. What is your opinion on the appearance of online courses on your transcript in terms of being a credible, competitive candidate for nursing programs? I am taking a hybrid chemistry course right now and hope to take Lifecycle Development and Statistics online as well. I am planning to take A & P in person. Thank you!

Samuel Merritt pre-req question
Hello all-- Not sure if this is the correct board to be posting this question! I am located in SF and am chipping away at general pre-reqs at City College of SF for accelerated BSN or entry-level MSN programs. One of the schools I am looking into for an ABSN degree is Samuel Merritt, but it is the only school I'm considering that requires Pharmacology and Pathophysiology as prereqs. I cannot seem to find these classes offered at any community colleges in the area. I am hoping to do all of my pre-reqs at community college settings and really cannot afford paying thousands of dollars to take these classes on a per-credit basis at SM. Did anyone in the bay area successfully take these classes at a neighboring city's community college or online? Thank you so much for your time.

"System-wide" Prerequisites
Hi all- Thanks for your patience if this is a repeated subject. I am just getting started in beginning my prerequisites for nursing school. I already have a Bachelors in a liberal arts field but I am hoping to acquire a BSN in an accelerated program once I complete my prereqs. I am keeping my options open for schools I am considering so I'm feeling overwhelmed with with the prereqs I should take since they vary SO much from school to school. How did you all decide which pre-reqs to take before deciding on which schools you would like to apply for? Obviously, chemistry, microbiology, Anatomy, and Physiology are "system-wide" and necessary at all schools. But what about General Psych vs Lifespan/Development Psych vs Abnormal Psych? General Stats vs. Inferential Stats? etc etc etc. I live in the SF bay area so I am looking at schools here but am open to moving to other cities as well. Thank you in advance!
