  1. And I do jump in and help. As I said I work the floor 1-2 days a week and I understand how to be helpful. I appreciate all the serious answers- I realize I am talking to intelligent, professional people. My need is to interact with our staff in tangible ways. Thank you all.
  2. Thank you. I've read about the Kudo cards before and will try them.
  3. I am a floor nurse as well as one of the Supers. I do not really have a problem standing up for my people or giving them constant affirmation. We have a great DON and ADON who do most of the hard work. My job is a lot being the cheerleader - doing fun activities and providing tangible praise. I am trying to come up with activities for Nurses Week and cannot find a good site for ideas. I am a new supervisor and would like to find some kind of training. As I said, my supervisors handle the real work. They allow me to spend time on praise, affirmation and organization. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!
  4. I am Med Surg supervisor for a 40 bed rural hospital. I want to love my people and make work fun. Any suggestions? Thanks.
