  1. Hi, I was selected as an alternate for SCC. I will be at the orientation for alternates on fri. may 12. See you there. I hope we get in!
  2. I finally received notification from SCC this am. I am an alternate for fall 2017. Hope I have a chance, not going to get too excited yet.
  3. Ok, thanks. Sounds like they are still sending out rejection. Mine should be on its way.
  4. yeah im linked up, but I still check it constantly. I would at least like to get a rejection, rather than nothing at all...
  5. Anyone else not receive any notification from SCC?
  6. do they send out all accept, then all reject? or just in order of applicant either accept or reject?
  7. I was like number 4 at SCC
  8. Man, I have not received any email.
  9. OK, thanks for letting me know. There still may be hope for spring 2018.....Congrats again brother...
  10. Which semester did you get accepted to, Fall/Spring? Im praying there is still hope because I have not received an email.....
  11. which semester did you get into at SCC?
  12. Congratulations you guys!
  13. seriously anxious to find out either way!
  14. Ive heard nothing yet from ARC or SCC. I am a little worried about SCC because I did not put my application in an envelope. Everyone ive talked to said they used an envelope. My cover page instructions specifically said use an envelope if mailing, but did not mentioin an envelope for hand delivery. I wrote SCC and they said that they corrected the cover pages after a few days to call for an envelope, and my application "should" be fine since I had first draft cover page! not very reassuring....
  15. Has anyones SCC status changed to Qualified? Im getting worried here...
  16. My SCC status has not changed. Still "received." The SCC flow chart shows the status will not change unless accepted to program. First time applying so I dont know if that is accurate. My ARC status has changed to "Qualified."
  17. At ARC, or SCC?
  18. Has anyone had their SCC status change?
  19. ARC Application status changed today. "Application qualified" fingers crossed...
  20. Second time applying to ARC, I signed in at #9 on the sign in sheet. Still "application received." Maybe working from the bottom up? Im sure there are a lot to go through. Also, on the SCC nursing page, there is a note on the flow chart stating that your status will remain as "application received," unless you are excepted. Not sure if that is accurate, because this is my first time applying to SCC.
  21. Mine still says received. Getting nervous...
  22. Both of my apps for SCC and ARC just say received. Anyone drop off this week? curious how many applicants there are on the sign in sheets....
  23. Where did you take your Prereqs? I am still enrolled at CRC, taking classes toward BSN so It will be less classes to take if and when I bridge from RN to BSN. Been going there for 3 years! I need to get in!
  24. Hi, how many points do you have multicriterion? I was pretty bummed last semester at ARC I thought I had 70 points, but they only gave me 65, so I was not even considered. This time I have 70 points with ARC, and 74.5 with SCC. Fingers crossed! Best of luck!
  25. Hello everyone. I wanted to start a discussion for people who have applied to ARC , SCC, or both for the fall 2017 class. Applications for both schools are due at the end of the month. I applied for both, praying I get excepted. Anyhow, say hello and stay in touch with updates, info. Etc....
