  1. Hello All, My name is Cat and I live in the Bay Area, CA. I am currently a part-time FNP student and looking for a preceptor. My school is out of state and does not offer many resources to students for preceptors. I've called and emailed several medical offices and private practices but no luck. I am required to complete a minimum of 180 clinical hours in the primary care setting. The population is primarily adult and women's health. Unfortunately, I had to withdraw this semester because I was unable to secure a preceptor. I would like to hopefully secure one so I can take the class when next offered. Any help or assistance would be great! I have joined the California Association for Nurse Practitioners to network but haven't secured a preceptor yet.
