Congrats everybody!!! So excited to be starting this program with you all in the next couple of months! I got an email around 4pm today; I probably didn't get the call due to lack of service at work. I interviewed early February for those who are curious. Again, congrats to you all! And good luck to the rest who are waiting to hear back.

APU is the only ELM I'm applying to. I was gonna apply to UCLA but it didn't seem like a good fit for me after I researched their program.

That's great experience in the field. Do you want to work with kids in the future? I definitely wanna stay in emergency or ICU. Preferably ED. Once I have my NP I would like to work in an ED fast track area (all the lower acuity patients). I also want to get into education sometime in my career, so that's something I'll pursue once I have some experience as a nurse. I'm applying to CSUSM, APU, Concordia University in Irvine, and MSMU.

Mal27, thank you! Good luck to you too! I think priority might be given to candidates with certain backgrounds, especially those with prior experience in the field. I have 4.5 years of experience as an EMT (prehospital & ER settings). I think that probably helped a lot. TEAS: 99th percentile Prereq GPA: ~3.8 Overall GPA: ~3.7 B.A. from a UC How are your stats? What other programs are you all applying to? p.s. I just finally figured out how to reply to a specific message. Took me a while.

Mal27, I turned in my application January 10th . Got confirmation that they received it on the 17th. Interview invite a week after that. I did turn in my application in person; not sure if that made a difference in how long it took for them to process it.

Don't worry Ru11! From what I remember from reading last year's forum, they were inviting people for interviews all throughout February.
