    So I have a favor to ask of any NPs who are willing to help. I have an assignment where I am supposed to interview an NP and get the answer to these questions. I did have an interview lined up with a local NP, but unfortunately the NP had to cancel due to her being too busy. I was hoping some kind hearted souls on here would be willing to help a student out. Thanks What are the steps to becoming an NP? Schooling: Average time spent in school Average cost Clinical hours [*]Licensure/ exams Cost Length of licensure/renewal period What are some barriers to being an NP Physician resistance? Scope of practice? Areas of Practice Potential area examples Your specialized area? Work independently or under supervision of a physician? Any thoughts on becoming an NP Advice?
