  1. Wow no replies? Okay I'll take it as travel nursing is not like I thought
  2. Hi everyone. I'm thinking of becoming a nurse and the job keeps sounding better and I can't wait to get started. However nursing was noy my first career choice. I wanted to do flight attending or hotel management so I could travel the world. Does nursing realky take you abroad like these other main stream travel jobs? I want to travel ALOT maybe years at a time. Will nursing really enable me to combine my love for travel and my love for helping people? I'm from New Zealand and I would want to work in places like Canada, UK, Indonesia, om a cruise ship, samoa and Switzerland are just a few places I'd like to work while on my long trip around the globe. I always thought a degree in business and accounting would enable me to travel like this (downside is accounting is too depressing a career for me) Thanks in advance!!!!
  3. Thankyou I'll definitely check it out
  4. That makes me feel so much better about my decision. Thank you for giving me that peace of mind.
  5. Hello everyone ☺ I'm new to this form. I'm just finishing high school and I'm considering doing Nursing. But I've got dyslexia. I've done well in calc and stats in high school given I had a calculator. I have however passed a few tests without one. Numbers tend to get mixed up in my head and when I'm stressing about it it gets even worse. When I have a pen, paper and calculator I would be totally fine as I have it physically in front if me. I'm a people's person and I want to pursue a career that wI'll enable me to help others. But I don't want my condition get in the way despite my good intentions to help others. Sometimes I think it's better for me not to go into nursing because of the potential risk involved with not having a calculator. I'm not sure if I should continue to pursue nursing I really need advice please. Thanks in advance ☺☺☺
