  1. Congratulations Fischek!! Good luck to you!
  2. Woop woop! Wot wot!! Congratulations 8130!! Thanks for starting this thread.
  3. I live in Bloomington and work in Edina. Kids' schools are in Bloomington also. Pretty sure I want to keep it close to home. I think Normandale is probably going to be my choice. So excited! I know you're getting in. It's nice to have the confirmation though.
  4. Okay Fischek, I got three letters today. Wait listed at Metro, accepted at Rochester, accepted at Normandale. Nothing from Century.
  5. Got three letters today. Wait listed at Metro with 11.39. Accepted at Rochester (not a MANE school). ACCEPTED at Normandale!!!! Yay!!! (11.8 or 12 depending on how they looked at it). Nothing from Century today.
  6. Happy March 15 everyone! Can't believe it's here.
  7. Fischek, any news yet? I know sometimes Inver is early with their letters.
  8. They send an actual letter in the mail.
  9. Hey everyone, it's March!!!! About two more weeks to go. Has anyone heard anything?
  10. Thank you Kjr89. It's nice to take a glimpse into the future.:)
  11. I emailed him too and I got an automated response. I applied anyway. I'm hoping to get into CC though because it will be cheaper and I won't have to wait a year and a half for the NCLEX. I'm an LPN (10yrs) and I have an AA but I recently retook a few of my sciences because of age and better grades. My composite score is different everywhere. I haven't heard too much about the metro portion but I'm hoping I would be able to work (at least part time) while I do that. It seems like there's a lot of info about the community college portion and not enough about the metro portion.
  12. And as far as plans go, I'm hoping to continue with the BSN program at Metro (why not?). I'll take my NCLEX after the 5th semester though. Did you apply to any other schools?
  13. I didn't apply to Inver but I applied to Century, Normandale, and Metro. There is another MANE thread going on here so maybe people are responding there. Anyway, about 4 more weeks to go!
  14. 8130, aren't you glad it's over? í ½í¸‰. Now we continue waiting.
  15. I know you have a great composite score 8130. I forgot to ask how the TEAS went. Obviously you did well on the test but what did you think?
  16. Got a letter from Normandale. Nothing from Century or Metro.
  17. Bonitafly23, I'm not sure what your composite score is but try not to be defeated. We all have a chance, even if it's small. Don't give up yet.
  18. Good luck lysser. Where are you?
  19. 8130, 12.1 is a great score anywhere. Our composite scores are so different everywhere. I'm at 11.8 for Normandale and 11.33 for Century and Metro. They're on the lower end but I applied anyway. I have an A in A&P 1 and 2 but unfortunately, those are second semester courses everywhere except for Normandale and they don't count for application. I guess we'll all know in March. I also applied to Rochester and Minnesota West. Fingers crossed. I'm getting in somewhere! Lol.
  20. Eva2015, I've followed threads on here where people got in with lower scores. It just all depends on the scores for that application cycle. Fingers crossed ☺
  21. I had an 83.3% overall score. The science focused mostly on A&P and a tad bit of Chem. The first time I took the TEAS, I scored 72% overall and that was a year ago. I'm hoping I'm a better candidate this time. Relax, read the study manual, and don't over think it. Good luck!
  22. Hi! I applied to Century, Normandale, and Metro. Now the wait begins.
