Health science degree first?
hi everyone. So I'm now getting ready to start my second year in college. I attend a community college and have accepted that I would need an extra year to graduate. Transitioning from hs to college was a bit tough but I now know I want to be a nurse (bsn) and in my spring semester started taking pre req so I can eventually transfer to a SUNY and start my bsn program there. But I definitely ruined (so bad I got dismissed) my gpa my first semester so I was wondering if I should just get my health science degree from the cc THEN apply to the bsn program? or is that a bad idea? I'll accept all options, PLEASE. (Sorry for the lengthy question)

Kiss My Nursing Dream Goodbye?
Hi everyone, I am an 18 year old college freshman in NY. I started off my freshman year terribly. I had no idea what I wanted to do and just randomly picked accounting. I unofficially withdrew from my English class because I didn't know any better (long story) which basically gave me a F, failed my accounting class and I passed my speech class with a B+. So technically I have no GPA and I'm currently on academic probation. At the ending of my fall semester I decided that nursing IS what I wanted to do and no matter how hard it will be, I KNOW it will be rewarding at the end. However I intend on just taking my perquisites at my current community college and then transferring to a four year school by Fall 2018 for a bsn program. After tons of research I feel like it's impossible to get into a four year nursing program with my first semester grades. I am looking at SUNY Farmingdale, Medgar Evers, and SUNY Brockport What am i suppose to do? I feel so lost and losing hope.

A bad foundation ruined my chances of nursing school?

Liberal Arts Degree Into BSN Program?
Hey, So I'm A 18 year old freshman in college and my school hasn't been really helpful. Last semester I dropped like all my classes and changed my whole minute super last minute (still probably the best decision I've ever made on my own). So Right now I've decided to do nursing and I don't plan on getting my degree in nursing in the community college I am in but rather going to a four year school and getting my bachelor's. A few of my friends have suggested I take all my pre reqs and get my liberal arts degree before going to a four year school instead of just taking the pre reqs I need and transferring. Can you please help as to which would be the best decision for me?? :/
