Moorpark College ADN Fall 2017
I was chosen as an alternate, and the next day (today) the office called and told me that I got in because I was the first one on the alternate list! I overheard them calling a bunch of alternates while I was signing the acceptance, but that's the only info I got. Good luck to everyone

Moorpark College ADN Fall 2017
@miss.martz Thank you! That is the plan, I also applied to VC which is a much shorter commute given I live in Ventura. I just wanted to make sure if I chose to go to VC that someone could take my spot at MP. I'm glad to hear I can always defer if plans change. Thanks :) Good luck!

Moorpark College ADN Fall 2017
Hi everyone, I just got a call to be an alternative for fall! I know that isn't super promising but after receiving two letters of rejection in the past week it definitely gave me hope. Does anyone know what that entails? I am still waiting to hear back from 3 other programs and I am a little nervous that if I go in tomorrow to sign my acceptance as an alternate that I will be officially choosing Moorpark to attend (whenever I will be officially accepted). I just like to know all of my options before I commit, especially if there is a chance that I will cause anyone inconvenience or waste anyone's time. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! :)

CSUCI Nursing 2017
Hi guys, I just wanted to create a thread for those who are applying for fall of 2017 to compare points (for positive reinforcement!) and to give/get advice for the application process or about the program in general. Good vibes only! My Points: Pre-req GPA - 2 points (didn't do so hot in community college) Cumulative GPA - 3 points (damn you pre-reqs) TEAS - 10 points Previous Degree Earned - 4 points (BS in Health Science - graduate this spring! Still counts...right?) Current CI Student - 6 points Work Experience - 4 points (CNA) Nursing Pipeline Program - 2 points TOTAL: 31 points **I know I am barely scraping by, I did not take community college seriously 5 years ago and I cannot be any more disappointed with my younger self. However, I am hoping with my background/experience, TEAS score, and CI GPA (3.6), they will acknowledge my passion for nursing. Fingers crossed!** How is everyone else doing with the application process? Care to share points? Any questions/comments are welcome!
