  1. Hi! I am choosing between cardiac OR or Neuro/Ortho/Spine OR. Does anyone know about these two areas of the OR for a nurse? Which would be considered more challenging/more interesting? I have spent some time in the OR when I briefly worked in labor and delivery and loved it. Both cardiac and neuro appeal to me very much, any input is welcome! Thank You, GG
  2. Hi, I am a fairly new graduate RN, less than a year of experience in labor and delivery and I find myself questioning my nursing field choice... I truly enjoy L/D, but it really hinders my experience level as a nurse. I feel torn between sticking with something I like or moving on to an area that can can provide me with a richer nursing background. My goal is to get my CRNP (not sure in what yet), so would it be wise of me to find a med/surg, neuro, OR, acute care type role? Any advice/suggestions are welcome! Thanks! GG
