Studying for AP is a broad subject, difficult perhaps. I have used youtube Crash Course channel and it helps a lot. Another community college where you can receive your RN-ADN is Lee College in Baytown, San Jacinto College 2(campuses), Lonestar College, and or Alvin community college as well. Look into each college individually as for each of these programs their pre-requisites may vary for example. HCC requires Microbiology Prior to Entrance into the Program, LEE College or San Jacinto DOES NOT. I have taken it twice and I will take it again in a few weeks, where i live we have FULL access to the Elvesier website and there is a review where it tells you exactly the type of questions that you missed for example in the AP part if you go over the "review" section it tells you you missed question # whatever.. and it is about "hormones" or "cardiovascular" system etc and math it'tll say "Ratios" .... so with each time that i took the test, well the first and the second. my score improved by 10 points in each section. so I picked out what i missed (which you can also create a packet) then print it to review. and now focusing on my weak areas. and I am looking forward to passing it the third time. "if the plan doesn't work, change the plan. But NEVER the goal." good luck!

How is it that everyone is saying how "he should have just done it " but hardly anyone is commenting about how rude she was for yelling across the hallway. She is 40 years old, she should be old enough to have handled the situation better. I can agree with a previous comment from earlier when they mentioned it sounds like she has resentment on her JUST being a CNA.

Im going to piggy back this comment because i can totally relate! i have just applied to nursing school and im curious to know how difficult it could be. But i also think to myself that getting through the pre requisite courses, working 2 jobs and having a baby, becoming a single parent, and almost having both of my parents NEARLY pass one due to an aneurysm and the other from several different health issues in the process of trying to keep my grades and not just giving up all together! My dad recovered from the aneurysm and my mother is well now. but I was originally born in El Salvador came here when I was seven, I saw poverty and the worst at a young age, and so my parents are immigrants but the way i see it is being here and being able to get an education is such a blessing in itself! I think i can get through nursing school if i just apply myself the same way as persistent as i was with getting the pre requisites done!
