I'm having a hard time finding info on professional organizations specifically for OB/GYN nursing - can someone point me in a good direction. I've found a few leads regarding OB/GYN journals and the like - but nothing similar to ANA or ENA or NSNA. I'm graduating in May and am highly attracted to women's health nursing & postpartum (not L&D or nursery so much). I was incredibly inspired during my postpartum rotation - didn't see that one coming at all! Anyway, I'd like to become involved in the specialty association, if there is one. I think it's a good way to really dive into the field and get a feel for the OB/GYN community.
Thanks in advance. I look forward to hanging out here more often, now that I feel like I've really decided this is what I want to do when I grow up. It doesn't seem like too many in my group are going in this direction - I think a couple want L&D, 2-3 are going for pedi and me looking at gyn/ante/postpartum. Everyone else is critical care & med/surg.
