Preparing for the NCLEX-RN

Hi everyone!

I am a foreign nurse and I am currently studying for the NCLEX. I am using Kaplan and I am just worried that my scores are not up to the 65% that I'm aiming to achieve. I feel like I might fail the NCLEX.

I've been reviewing for a month yet I feel that I am still not ready. Passing the NCLEX is a big deal for me and my family since they are the ones financing my studies. I just resigned from my job in order to focus on the exam.

I am an avid reader of the forums here and I read that some of you guys passed the NCLEX in 75 questions... *sigh* I'm just really nervous right now :p

Anyways, thanks in advance for your support! :D

Hello there! I noticed that you're from the Philippines, I am a filipina nurse too, I'm planning to take the NCLEX RN in less than two weeks. You might want to check the Priority, Delegation and Assignment by La Charity (as a filipina nurses we need to educate ourselves with this because we don't have much delegations) or UWorld Q bank. You'll learn tons of knowledge with these materials. The materials I'm using are Saunders 6th edition, I read this cover to cover and skim it once in a while (it's been 5 years since I'm out from Nursing School) and the two materials that I mentioned earlier. I find UWORLD Q Bank very helpful because of the high quality questions with great rationales. Please read the reviews of Uworld and probably you can take it from there. Please don't give up on yourself yet. You need to encourage yourself as well and be determined that you can do this. God bless!

thank you for your advice! I'm also reading Saunders in addition to my Kaplan materials. Good luck on your test!
