Preceptorship

Help! I got med surg as my unit for my preceptorship. I am really disappointed in this because I did not like it when we did clinicals there back in 1st and 2nd semester. Has anyone already started doing their preceptorship or know what to expect? Trying to make the best of this.

I did med-surge for my capstone as well. I didn't like it but hey, gotta make the most of it. Learn as much as you can, help your preceptor, and you will probably end up getting a for sure job there when you graduate + good references.

One thing I learned in nursing school is no matter how boring you think your clinical spot is, do your best because you never know who is watching or when you might need something from someone.
