Preceptor NY for 10 weeks

Good day!

My name is Almaz Taye and I am an RN-BSN online student at Grand Canyon University (GCU) AZ. I previously posted regarding seeking a preceptor in Arizona, but since I am now planning to temporarily relocate to New York, I am reposting to seek a preceptor for my BSN, NRS 465 Applied Evidence-Based Project and Practicum in New York.

As I hold a New York RN license, GCU requires me to complete my practicum in New York, and I plan to temporarily relocate to the state for 10 weeks to fulfill this requirement.

A little about me: I have 13 years of nursing experience in Ambulatory Care settings, with additional leadership roles, such as Charge Nurse and Nurse Manager in outpatient departments. I am passionate about evidence-based practice and excited to collaborate with a preceptor to further my professional growth.

Preceptor requirements:
• Currently in a leadership position at a clinical facility (e.g., Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager, etc.)
• BSN or MSN degree
• 3+ years of RN experience

If you are interested in guiding me through this important phase of my education, I would be honored to work with you. Please feel free to reach out for more details or if you have any questions.

My email is [email protected]
