Preceptor Needed!

Hello,

I am looking for a preceptor for the Fall 2021 semester.  I am a current MSN student through Benedictine University with a focus on nursing education.  I recently relocated to the Atlanta, Georgia area.  I need a 140-hour clinical rotation this fall.  It would be approximately 9 hours a week for 16 weeks.  I can complete this in a variety of clinical areas including geriatrics, hospice, primary care, etc.  I have experience in LTC, OB-GYN office setting, dialysis, and hospice.  I will pay an hourly rate for someone willing to take me on as a preceptee!  I am also willing to relocate outside of the Atlanta area if you are within a 1-2 hour drive.

A preceptor for a BenU MSN student must be:

• licensed to practice as a registered nurse (without provision or condition) in the state where the practicum will be undertaken; NOTE: preceptors working in military settings including veteran’s hospitals may hold licensure in a state other than the state where the practicum will be undertaken;

• a graduate from an accredited nursing program having earned a master’s or doctoral degree in nursing;

• employed for a minimum of one year in a master’s level nursing role (manager, educator, researcher, nurse practitioner) at the selected practicum site

Thank you!

Brooke :)
