I am finishing up my summer internship next week. I have had 3 preceptors during the summer, and would love to get them a nice gift that doesn't cost too much. I have had 2 main ones and 1 that filled in 4 shifts. Any ideas from you nurses out there would be great. What are the best gifts you have received from student nurses?

orientees, but I will tell you that I cherish the thank you notes that I've received. Other than that, maybe a small hand lotion, lip gloss, candle or the like? Just some thoughts.
Congrats on completing your residency, that's such an accomplishment.

I am a nursing instructor during the regular school semesters, and I'll tell you..the best gifts I have received from students are the heartfelt notes they have written to me. I have saved them all, because they meant a lot to me to have them put into words what I have taught them, or how I have helped them through the semester. I have also received cafeteria gift cert. for lunch or a couple of coffees. That was nice too, when I forgot lunch money.
You are very nice to want to thank your preceptors, it will make them happy and feel that they have made a difference in your nursing experience.
Good luck!

a nice note and some cookies would be a nice gift to thank them.

Definitely, the note! Some kind of homemade goodies, a mug with candy, pens, etc; The cafeteria or coffee shop gift certificate idea is great, too.
Anything you give them will probably be fine. In this situation, it truly is the thought that counts.
