Pre- Requisite Courses

Where are you located? I've seen my cc in Marland offer it but due to out of state costs, it'd be around $1500 to take it. (and we are already in the 3rd week of school) If you look at the CCs in your area, you might find one that is cheaper.

Yes, definitely try your local community college. I'm taking this class online at my CC right now and its only costing me around $350.

I'm in California, and I'm taking Lifespan Psychology at Barstow Community College even though I live in Long Beach, CA (not even close to Barstow). However, the class is completely online and run very well by the professor. Since I have a Board of Governor's Fee Waiver, the class is completely free! Check any CC's in your state for potential online courses, and also ask admissions counselors at your local nursing schools, because they will likely already know where the classes are offered. I was referred to Barstow by a nursing school admissions counselor, because they see applications and transcripts every day, so they know! Good Luck!
