varies depending on the school to which you apply. go to aana.com, and you should find a complete list of crna schools, along with the links to their school websites. most schools have a list of prerequisites on their website that they require an applicant to have completed by the time that they apply for admission to their program.

I know one of the pre-reqs is the ability to take some self initiative and be able to use a search funtion.

Specific course requirements vary a lot, all programs require at least one year acute care experience as an RN, and you must have a BS degree. You'll need to look at the specific programs.

Three basic requirements. First, you need to be an RN licensed in at least one state. Second, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or other appropriate baccalaureate degree. Third, minimum of one year experience working as an RN in an acute setting.
The first requirement is not different between schools. The second and third have a wider range of interpretation by different schools. The all accept a BS in Nursing for entrance, especially if the anesthesia training is part of the school of nursing at the university. Other schools will accept other degrees as long as they meet their specific requirements.
The amount of experience is also variable. The minimum is one year, with several schools it is 1.5 to 2 years, while the average number of years experience for RNs accepted into some schools may be 3 to 5 years.
