Pre-req Recency Requirement

I’m in California and I just recently looked at three nursing program websites (Los Medanos, CSUEB and SFSU), and I noticed none of them say that the science courses have a recency requirement of five years anymore. Did they change this rule? I checked the end of 2020 and the rule was there and now it’s not. If they did change it then that’s great because I completed my science courses almost 8 years ago and I was beginning to give up on pursuing nursing.
