pre-nursing student has a ?

Hi everyone! I'm currently on the waiting List for the 2 year Nursing Degree at Henry Ford Community College in MI. I plan on getting my BA but I'm not sure if I'll go on to get my Masters. My question is I've always dreamed of being a Labor and Delivery Nurse..but if I decided to just get my BA can I get a job as a RN on the L&D Ward with just my BA or do they only hire you if you have your Masters. I'm just getting started and need to fill in the blanks so I can figure out what path I want to take. Thank you for taking the time out to help me!!

:balloons: Hello and Welcome :balloons:

I am sure you mean your BSN. And, no, an MSN is not required to work in L and D. You may secure a position in L and D with an ASN as well.

Good luck!!!!!
