Postpartum Heat Application

I am a nurse on Postpartum and I am trying to research what other hospitals use to alleviate lower back pain at the epidual site for Postpartum patients. I would love to find out if anyone uses those Therma Care disposable heat pads or something like it. Thank you!

We use Aqua-K pads for back pain other than from an epidural. Some patients like them. Others say they don't get warm enough to help much.

For epidural pain, I've had more success with giving patients ice packs and ibuprofen to reduce the inflammation. Heat seems to make things worse.
