Post-test jitters (here's one more!)

Well.. alright. I took the test.. and it shut off at 75 questions. Actually, no.. it shut off at 74 questions - to tell me I should break. However, in the amount of time it took for the computer screen to go from shutting off to asking me whether I wanted to take a break, I had convinced myself that I was hopeless and the computer wasn't willing to waste its time to ask me the full 75 (the whole thinking process took 2-3 seconds tops). I think that's called "disastrous thinking".

Anyway, I'm going over several questions in my head. I don't know if I got the last question right. Is that one of the ultimate determinants? I'm tempted to look them up in the book.. although I hear that's a no-no. I had three "select-all" questions, too.. are those supposed to be on the higher end? I think I'm trying to make myself feel better. Haa. Maybe I'm wrong.

My heart would slow up everytime I got a priority (relieved that the computer believed I was smart enough to answer them)... and then speed up everytime I got an easier question (upset that the computer didn't think I deserved a harder one). That led to some anxiety. I don't know... what I have to say isn't any different than everybody else. I don't think I can get my scores until Monday now. Anxious, nervous, upset... blah blah.

Okay, done venting. Thanks. :)

I definately got my last question wrong. Don't let that bother you. Just because you took a little longer than you would have liked doesn't mean that you answered the previous questions incorrectly.

i too am positive that i got my last question wrong. it was on something i had never even heard about. im so glad that thats not what determines ur overall test resul! good luck, and im sure that you did well . its the waiting thats a killer cuz then u have nothing but time to go over the test and second guess yourself. my suggestion is try to get away for the weekend!
