Hi everyone, so I wanted to share my experience. I finished my exam at 9:48 am 12/13/16 with 75 questions. I was the 2nd person to arrive at test center. Thank God I was given a corner computer. I graduated nursing school May 2016. I applied late to the BRN, dumb mistake don't do it. I'm in CA. They were behind 3 months when I applied. I had a DUI on my record from like 7 years ago. Which took my application even longer. I got my ATT approval 11/8/16. I originally had given my self a month to study but pushed my date back. I have 4 boys that were out of school for a week for Thanksgiving break. With that being said, I studied as much as I could. My kindergartner was out every day at noon. Yes, I had a husband who helped when he could. He's an R.N. who sleeps in the day and works at night. I prepared myself for this exam beginning with a 3 day live Hurst review at the end of July. I also started studying NCSBN but soon realized I could not keep up with their study schedule. I bought a Kaplan NCLEX-RN premier 2016 book. I finished half the book because then I got worried I wasn't doing enough questions online. So then I came across Uworld. I tried their 25 questions for free and I was sold. I did a total of 6 exams each 75 questions long. I tried to do one everyday, but sometime they would carry over to the next day. I read all the rationales even the ones I got right. I forgot to mention I bought la charity too. that really helped too. I feel confident that I passed but I'll let you guys know in a couple of days. Btw if you guys are going to spend money on anything spend it on Uworld. It's reasonably priced and I feel it prepared me for this exam.
