Post-Interview Question

Hi Everyone!

I am a frequent poster but my username reveals a little to much information about myself, therefore I created a new account to protect my anonymity.

I am currently job-seeking, and I have been going through the process of interviewing and applying for more jobs. I applied for a job several weeks ago, and the next day human resources called me to set up a interview. I was shocked that he was able to get back to me the day after I applied. I interviewed two weeks ago and I was told I would hear something "soon." Well my question is, should I keep applying for jobs within that hospital? I only applied for one at the time because my computer died almost immediately after I finished my application, and we were traveling so I did not have my computer charger. I guess my biggest concern is, human resources seeing that I am still applying for different jobs and getting the impression that I am no longer interested in the position I interviewed for. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!!

(And I realize that I am probably being paranoid, but job hunting has made me slightly neurotic, its like dating all over again!! :) )

I was keeping my applications to one active one per company, but as soon as I got a rejection email, I countered with another application for a different position. I was up to about a dozen per major hospital when I finally got hired a few weeks ago by one of them. Stay on it! :D

Thanks for the advice! I may wait to see what happens with the job I interviewed for, and if for some reason I do not get that particular job, I will apply for the other jobs I am qualified for within that hospital. Thanks again!
