i am a international student from china , and i study in the community college in CA , i want to be a nurse and get green card

so i have some questions:

90 percent university don't acept the international for nursing so ,how can i do?

if i get a RN licence and get a employee in us can i get a green card?

before i get green card . shoud i take some language tests like IBT or IELTS?

Language tests will be required to start nursing school. There are no jobs for newly graduated nurses right now in the US, particularly in CA. I think at one point it was easier to immigrate here as a nurse, but I believe that has changed with the economy. Really the best person to ask about getting a green card to work here as a nurse would be an immigration attorney. They are the only people who can competently answer your question.

As for getting into nursing school, you will need outstanding grades and given the fact that it is even more difficult as an international student, you'll likely need other honors or experiences to get you in. You also need very strong English skills. Good luck to you!

thank , but i only konw the California state university longbeach will acept the 2 international students . i can't find others .most of the nursing school only acept the in state residence .

can you tell me some university which acept international students? thank you

I would check mdc.edu. Its in Florida. It is very far from CA. Most international students in my school are from the Caribbean or South America. But I've seen some from China, Taiwan, and Japan. I would also try to look into New York/New Jersey schools.

how is that nursing school.? is it a university? how is the rank ? and do you konw some nursing school which will acept the F1 in CA ? i am so appreciated about that!!!!!

If the job that you get as on RN is willing to sponsor you then you will get your green card. As on international student after you finish your studies immigration will give you a one year work permit..otherwise you will have to get married to a US citizen.

what do you mean the sponsor? can you introduce some nursing school where located in the CA which acept the F1 student ? please. i am so appreciated about that !!!thank you !!!!
