Please help me

Hello my name is Ana and I live in Texas JI just got accepted into a nursing school which can be really difficult to get in. I just found out they do not accept any form of federal financial aid, and every bank tells me that my school will not accept any loans either. In total my tuition will be about 9000 and I can not possibly come up with that kind of money so soon. I tried so hard to get into this school; I wrote an essay, got 2 letters of recommendation, took and passed a really difficult entrance exam ….ext. I really don’t want to drop out at the last minute because this school only accepts students once a year. Thank you so much for reading my story. Ana

What is the name of the school and have you checked to make sure it is accredited? There are alot of scholarships out there for nursing students. Did the school give you any information on how to obtain funding? I think I read about a school like that and they were not able to take NCLEX exam. Check out the school on Texas Board of Nursing.

yes it is, its the valley baptist medical center school of nursing

What about taking out a personal loan?

This does not sound right to me. They should be happy to take funding anywhere they can get it.

I would talk to the people in the finance department they offer assistance to employees there under education assistance. I would also try taking out a Private Student Loan from a bank ex.WellsFargo. If you still cant come up with funding then I would suggest you look at other schools. This is probably a sign that this may not be the place for you. You don't want to go through nursing school worried about your finances. Good luck!
