Please Help!!!

Has anyone ever heard of the Center for Allied Nursing and Health Education in Hackensack, NJ? I am interested in their LPN program because it is one of the only evening and weekend programs but it is rather pricey (over $22K) for 16 months. The time frame is not bad as I intend to move on to an LPN to RN program. Many people have told me to go straight for an RN program but that is impossible considering I need to keep my day job, So far I have only found this program that will allow me to keep my day job. Once I am done with the LPN program, I intend to work as an LPN preferably at night in order to take on an LPN to RN program. From what I understand, Bronx Community College has an evening LPN program but it is impossible to get those people just to answer the phone. Of course my first choice is Beth Israel but I would likely have to quit work for that and we all know that jobs are scarce right now. Any advice or insights. Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!!!

Deana

Yikes, you should look into a community college ADN for your RN, why spend all that money just for an LPN, and then later do the RN, you can RN-BSN mostly on-line later.

oops, your main problem, your day job... some states let you sit for CNA after one semester RN school... if you have some cash set aside, you can get your CNA cert, and then get a job as a PCT nights while you do the rest of your RN school during the day.
