Please help me Nurses or midwives

Hi every body,

First I want to tell u my story to get some advice:

I have been here in Au since 2nd of Nov 2008 and I applied for registration in Queensland Nursing Council at 14th Dec 2008 and after getting two email back from them and providing different Doc Now i get my last letter from them that mentioned that I am not able to get registration in QNC it means now after 15 month being waiting for them they only told me NO, why? Because I studied in 2 different Uni in IRAN , 2 years to get my Diploma of Midwifery and 2years in another uni to get my Bachelor of midwifery it means 4 years all together, and they only assess 2 years of my study !!!!!!!!

I called and asked them to consider my application again but they said it is not their responsibility they only consider one course and I have to deal with universities not council !!!!!!!

Now after I am going to be crazy I do not know what do I have to do. i applied for Monash uni in Vic and I am going to search about preregistration program for overseas Midwives but I really need to u guys help me.

Please give an advice, what is best to do in this situation.

    Hi. I don't know enough about the overseas-trained registration process to know why they only considered the Bachelor section. However, if they won't reconsider your application then it sounds as though studying locally may be your only option.

    Here in QLD or Victoria?

    And have heard about MOnash university in Victoria?

    If so how is it?
