I know that VEEB in Uniondale, LI has started handing out applications for Fall 2009 this Mon. Jan 26th. You will have to go there in person with your state ID and your HS diploma, or equivalent. There, they will also give you a testing date. More info @ http://www.veeb.org/LPN_main.php & http://www.veeb.org/LPN_admission_requirements.php
There is another LPN program held by Dept of Education of the City of NY. There are 2 locations: Mid-Manhattan & Brooklyn, but I think the cut-off date to pick up/download an application and have it post-marked was Jan 16th. If you'd like to read more on this program, the website is http://cnetnurse.com/pre_pro_testing/nyc_doe_2005.html
Lastly, there is an HHC LPN program for people from low-income families. This program is free, BUT you have to meet the requirements. You can get more info @ http://www.nyc.gov/html/hhc/downloads/pdf/hhc-lpn-training.pdf
Hope this helps.

Boyer79,
You can try Cochran School of Nursing. Check the website for the application information and deadlines. Whatever you decide make sure it's an accredited school because if not you will not have the credits required to further your education.
Good Luck!!
